CHF Opens CHF Medical Center in the Tonkolili District
On April 29th, 2022. The Community Health Foundation (CHF) officially opened CHF Medical Center. A maternal and children’s health hospital located at 2 Silicon hills Mile 91, Tonkolili District. Sierra Leone.
This fully operational Hospital has a well-equipped laboratory, an operating theater, a functional pharmacy, and a blood bank unit. Apart from its focus on maternal and children’s healthcare, CHF Medical Center also provides 24 hours quality healthcare services to people of all ages. With a comfortable environment including 24 hours water supply system, 24 hours electricity from a solar power system, and a backup generator.
CHF Medical Center is also proud of having experienced international and local staff.

COVID 19 Donation to Sierra Leone.
The Government of Sierra Leone, through the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, has today the 19th of June 2020, received 40 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds as a donation from the Community Health Foundation (CHF), a non-profit organization based in Maryland, United States.
Receiving the donation, the Minister of Health and Sanitation, Dr. Alpha Wurie, thanked the team of the foundation for a patriotic move. He admitted that ” Sierra Leone has only one Intensive Care Unit (ICU) bed, currently at the Connaught Hospital.” He further expressed that “with this donation, the ministry now has enough ICU beds for distribution to form a nucleus for emergency operations across Sierra Leone”
In a speech read on her behalf by Mr. Jacob Sax Conteh, the Principal of Canadian College of Modern Technology mile 91, Ms. Linda Sesay, CEO and Founder of CHF, promised to work with the government and private sector to help improve the health care system in Sierra Leone.
